A mobile data centre is a modular, prefabricated data centre housed within a specially fitted, reinforced container. It brings together all critical components in an optimised and secure space: rack, server, power supply and connections, cooling system, fire protection system, physical security system, etc. This solution addresses the challenges of business continuity, edge computing and infrastructure cost optimisation.
With HexaDC, your mobile containerised data centre is DESIGNED AND MANUFACTURED AS A COMPACT, HIGH-DENSITY, READY-TO-OPERATE SERVER ROOM, deployable at your site in record time. You gain in speed, cost control and autonomy.
Your HexaDC mobile data centre combines easy transport, effortless movement on the ground, and hassle-free installation and connection.
Take your data centre wherever it’s needed
Designed using LIGHTWEIGHT, STANDARDISED SHIPPING CONTAINERS (20 or 40 feet), our data centres can be transported by lorry (as well as by train, ship or air) without requiring special transport permits or facing traffic restrictions.
The container structure is reinforced to withstand a TILT OF UP TO 45° and thus facilitate loading, unloading and transport via Ampliroll lorries. ON THE GROUND, MOVING IS EFFORTLESS: a pallet truck and four castors are more than enough to position the data centre correctly.
You therefore benefit from ROBUST, STANDARDISED STRUCTURES THAT CAN BE TRANSPORTED ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.
Move your data centre without any downtime
The EQUIPMENT required to operate a Tier III-certified data centre IS PRE-INSTALLED PRIOR TO DELIVERY in the RC4-certified container:
- complete fire detection and suppression system
- security system
- N+1 redundant cooling system
- generator and dual UPS system
The IT racks are integrated into a SUSPENDED IT CAGE fitted with cable dampers and an anti-deformation system to absorb vibrations and shocks, THUS ELIMINATING THE NEED TO DISMANTLE THE IT EQUIPMENT DURING TRANSPORT. The data centre can therefore be moved whilst operational via a 5G or satellite connection.
